1. You can easily buy Treasury Bonds through Midway Securities Ltd.
2. You cannot buy Treasury Bonds if you have a Sharia based bank account registered in your BO account.
3. An individual can apply for Treasury Bonds of different tenures.
4. An updated calendar of Treasury bond auctions is available on the website of Midway Securities Ltd.
5. Treasury bond auctions are held weekly on every Tuesday.
6. Interested applicants should email accounts@midwaybd.com by 3 PM on Sunday.
7. In the email you have to tell how much money you are willing to invest (minimum 1 lakh Taka and its multiples).
8. Bonds can be purchased at a rate proportional to the amount of your investment.
9. Your money will go from your BO account to the designated bank on the next day of application.
10. Bonds will be applied for in your name as soon as the auction starts on Tuesday morning.
11. If the Treasury Bonds are successfully allotted in your name in auction at “Weighted Average Rate” method then transfer to your BO account after 1 week.
