Multiple people have been rushed to hospital after a three-car crash on a major highway along Western Australia’s coast.
Emergency services attended the crash at the intersection of Indian Ocean Dr and Lancelin Rd in Lancelin about 1pm on Thursday.
A girl, a woman aged in her 30s and a second woman aged in her 40s were taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
Another woman in her 30s and a woman in her 40s were taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The crash comes just hours after two people were killed in Lower Chittering about 5.10am.
Both drivers, a 47-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, suffered critical head injuries and died at the scene.
